Summer is almost here! But with average temperatures of 103 degrees, this June is going to be blazing. There are many steps you can take to beat the heat. I have cranked up the air conditioning in the house and I’ve made sure to drink plenty of water. One of the things I hate most about hot weather is a hot car and I bet you do too. A/C Repair

Nothing is worse than getting into your car and having hot air blow out of the vents. Make sure to have you’re A/C system inspected before the temperatures rise.  During an inspection, your cabin temperatures will be checked to ensure your vents are blowing refreshing cool air. If hot air is blowing out or the air isn’t as cool as it should be, we will check your compressor.

Your compressor is located under the hood with your engine. It is the heart of your cooling system and the most logical place to start investigating A/C issues. A properly working compressor will turn with the outer pulley. If one of our mechanics notices the compressor is looked or making squealing noises, we might need to replace it.

Oil change

Just like we drink water to cool down, your engine needs fluids to stay cool. Oil not only acts as a lubricant for the many moving parts in your engine. It is also a vital source for heat dispersion. You will want to make sure that you are up to date on your oil change before the temperatures rise. Your engine has hundreds of moving parts that cause a lot of friction and produce a lot of heat. Your engine can get so hot that part can actually weld together. Don't risk engine damage this summer, have your oil and filters changed by one of our certified technicians.
